The field team of Senabil Association, accompanied by a delegation from the United Nations, visited the “Yellow Line” camps in Al-Maghazi to assess the humanitarian situation and identify the urgent needs of residents amid the difficult living conditions in the area.
The visit aimed to strengthen humanitarian response efforts and determine the type of relief intervention required to support affected families.
During the field tour, the delegation reviewed the camps’ essential needs and the humanitarian services required.
The Senabil Association team stated that the visit was based on a prior field assessment conducted to identify the needs of the “Yellow Line” camps extending from the north to the south, in order to develop a clear understanding of the humanitarian interventions needed during the coming phase.
A delegation from Senabil Association, accompanied by the Director of the Education Program and several school principals, visited the municipality of Deir al-Balah to extend congratulations to Mr. Khalil Abu Samra on assuming the presidency of the municipality, as well as to the newly formed municipal council members. During the visit, the delegation emphasized the importance of strengthening partnerships between educational institutions and local authorities, highlighting its role in supporting education and serving the local community. They also praised the municipality’s efforts in advancing development projects and improving public services in the city. In response, the Mayor and council members welcomed the visiting delegation and expressed their appreciation for the gesture, affirming their commitment to enhancing cooperation with Senabil Association in a way that serves education and meets the needs of the local community.
Al-Sanabel Foundation received a delegation from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), represented by Mr. Hossam Saleh, in the presence of Programs Director Ms. Amani Eid and Relief Program Manager Mr. Kareem Najm. During the meeting, discussions focused on reviewing and assessing the services provided in the Yellow Line areas of the Gaza Strip, as well as identifying key humanitarian needs and challenges facing residents in those areas. The participants also explored ways to strengthen humanitarian response efforts and improve service delivery mechanisms to help alleviate the suffering of the population. Both parties emphasized the importance of continued coordination and joint cooperation to ensure humanitarian and relief services reach the most vulnerable groups in the Gaza Strip.
As part of the Training and Freelancing Program at Senabil Association, the association launched a training course titled “Artificial Intelligence” targeting students, with the aim of developing their technical and educational skills and keeping pace with modern technological advancements. The course aims to introduce students to the fundamentals of artificial intelligence and its various applications, while also training them in creative thinking, analytical skills, and the use of modern digital tools in education and development. The association emphasized that this course is part of its ongoing efforts to empower students and enhance their scientific and practical abilities, contributing to preparing a generation capable of adapting to future technological demands.
Under the patronage of the Ministry of Education and UNICEF, Senabil Association for Youth and Development organized a science fair at Senabil School, with the participation of students and under the supervision of the Science Committee and the educational staff. The exhibition featured a variety of innovative scientific projects and experiments that reflected students’ creativity and skills in science and technology. The fair provided students with an opportunity to present their ideas and enhance their research and practical abilities. The association’s management emphasized that organizing this event comes as part of its efforts to support interactive education and encourage students toward scientific innovation and creativity, contributing to the development of their academic and practical skills.
Senabil Association has launched the “Esnad 2008” project, aimed at supporting Tawjihi students by providing instruction and academic follow-up for subjects and topics that are not directly taught within the official curriculum, despite being included in the final examinations. The project comes as a continuation of the association’s educational support efforts, having previously been implemented for the 2006 and 2007 student cohorts, where it achieved a positive impact in helping students overcome academic challenges and improve their readiness for final exams. The project focuses on creating a supportive educational environment that helps bridge learning gaps and strengthen students academically through a team of qualified teachers and academic supervisors.
Senabil Association has launched the third level of its English Language Program, targeting first- and second-year university students, as part of the association’s ongoing efforts to empower youth and enhance their academic and professional skills. This program comes as a continuation of the previous levels and focuses on developing speaking, writing, and communication skills through modern interactive learning methods that meet the needs of university students and the job market. As part of improving the educational environment, the association has also prepared a dedicated training facility for courses, providing a suitable and motivating learning space that contributes to enhancing the quality of training and maximizing participants’ benefit.
