Following the remarkable success of the Senabil Deir Al Balah 1 Field School in reintegrating students into education during the war, the establishment of the Senabil Deir Al Balah 2 Field School became a necessary expansion to meet the growing demand for safe and uninterrupted learning. This intervention was designed to support thousands of students whose education was disrupted due to widespread destruction and ongoing displacement. The Senabil Deir Al Balah 2 Field School stands as one of the largest emergency educational interventions in the central Gaza region, serving a total of 3,200 students, including 2,100 female students and 1,100 male students. This makes it a central hub for sustaining the educational process in areas where formal schools are no longer functional. The school is operated by a qualified team of 58 educational and administrative staff members who provide daily academic instruction, structured psychosocial support, and organized educational and recreational activities. The school offers a safe, fully equipped learning environment that restores stability for students and empowers them to overcome the psychological and academic challenges imposed by the war.
