As part of its humanitarian efforts to alleviate the suffering of affected families in the Gaza Strip and share the joy of the blessed Eid al-Adha with them, Senabil Association for Youth and Development implemented a meat distribution project for families in need during the Eid holidays.
Due to the exceptional circumstances that prevented the implementation of the Qurbani (sacrificial animal) project in its usual form, the Association sought to provide an alternative that would bring happiness to families by supplying and distributing chilled meat to beneficiaries.
The project benefited approximately 2,000 families across various areas of the Gaza Strip.
Each family received 2 kilograms of chilled meat, contributing to improved food security for the targeted households and enabling them to share in the festive spirit of Eid despite the difficult challenges they face.
The Association emphasized that this intervention is part of its humanitarian mission to support the most vulnerable groups and ease the living burdens faced by families in the Gaza Strip.
It also expressed its appreciation to the donors and partners whose support contributed to the success of the project and ensured that assistance reached those most in need.

Senabil Association held an introductory orientation session for the "Sami" Values Project, bringing together parents and caregivers to help them understand the project's goals and key components in a warm and welcoming setting. The project is designed to nurture positive values in children, build essential life skills, and support their personal development in a balanced, caring, and constructive way. As part of the launch, children also took part in a range of interactive and recreational activities, carefully planned to create a positive and engaging environment, one that encourages active participation, joyful interaction, and meaningful connection. At the end of the event, gifts and holiday tokens were lovingly distributed to the children. This gesture reflects Senabil Association's ongoing commitment to bringing joy into young lives and encouraging them to remain engaged and inspired throughout the project's journey.

In a strategic step that strengthens its position in the humanitarian sector, Senabil Association has announced its official adoption and receipt of the commitment to the Joint Operating Principles (JOPs) for Humanitarian Action in Gaza, endorsed by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and the Humanitarian Country Team. This step reaffirms the Association’s firm commitment to the four core humanitarian principles: Humanity: Continuously striving to alleviate suffering, protect lives, and preserve human dignity. Neutrality: Refraining from taking sides in political, ideological, or other disputes. Impartiality: Providing assistance solely on the basis of need, without discrimination. Independence: Formulating and implementing humanitarian policies free from political or economic influence and pressure. This commitment is part of the Association’s comprehensive institutional development journey aimed at enhancing its operational readiness and strengthening its internal systems and policies, thereby enabling more effective and sustainable partnerships with international humanitarian organizations and stakeholders. In this context, the Association’s management emphasized that this achievement would not have been possible without intensive fieldwork and continuous professional efforts. They stressed that adherence to the JOPs reflects the Association’s vision of delivering a professional, responsible, and transparent humanitarian response that meets the needs and aspirations of the Palestinian community in accordance with the highest international standards. Senabil Association extends its sincere appreciation and gratitude to all its staff members, field teams, supporting partners, and everyone whose efforts, expertise, and dedication contributed to reaching this advanced stage of institutional excellence.
